READ ABOUT FILE SECURITY

 We are happy to provide our clients with the ability to read their files online and download them to their local computers.  We reserve the right to determine which documents will be stored online, but will strive to make as many available as possible.  For example, we will not include email messages, since clients can easily keep copies of those without having to access them on the online service.  However, other documents, including written correspondence, pleadings, agreements, and so on will be included in the online file directory.  We will also place invoices online for clients who are on an hourly billing contract.  Before you fill out and send the form, you need to read CLIENT FILES, ONLINE SECURITY AND CLIENTS' RIGHTS.  All files stored online will be converted to Adobe PDF format and protected with passwords to help ensure confidentiality.  You will need Adobe Reader.  In order to take advantage of this service, please fill out the following form and [CLICK] on the SUBMIT button.

  • I have read and understand the information about client file security on this website.  If I did not understand the information, I consulted with an expert who could explain the information to me.
  • I acknowledge that not every file generated in the course of legal representation will be placed online.  I reserve the right to ask for a list of all files maintained on my behalf, whether online, in the Law Firm's local computers, or in hard copy document storage.  I acknowledge that I have the right to inspect my files provided I give the law firm sufficient notice to retrieve and produce the files for my inspection.
  • I agree and understand that the Law Office of Mike Tully will take all reasonable steps, as outlined in the relevant Ethical Opinions issued by the State Bar of Arizona, to preserve the confidentiality of my files and provide a good faith effort to provide a high level of security.
  • I agree to hold harmless the Law Office of Mike Tully, and all attorneys employed thereby, from any damages resulting from a breach of confidentiality of my online files, provided the law firm is in compliance with the relevant ethical opinions of the State Bar of Arizona governing the maintenance of client files online.
  • I have agreed to compensate the Law Office of Mike Tully for a service charge for using the online client files service as agreed upon separately between me and the law firm.
